Commuter Support
If you commute to the Charlotte Campus, Student Engagement is your first stop. The office connects you with campus resources, answers questions about renting and living off campus and helps you work through problems — from orientation through graduation.
Commuting doesn’t mean spending less time on campus. Between classes you’ll need somewhere to eat, study, meet up with a group or just take a break, and Student Engagement can point you toward the spaces and services that make a long day on campus work.
Spaces for commuters include:
- Commuter Lounge — Academic Center, Fourth Floor
- Wildcat Center Den
Living Off-Campus
Seniors and other students eligible to live off campus can find off-campus housing resources in jwuLink. The resources cover how to start an apartment search, rental basics and budget planning, your rights and responsibilities as a renter and the utilities and services you’ll need to set up.
