John Hazen White College of Arts & Sciences

Students in the John Hazen White College of Arts & Sciences are designing their own majors, finding ways to change the world through politics or criminal justice, conducting biological research, directing independent films and more. This college is filled with ambitious young minds who are learning to become critical and creative thinkers, effective communicators and leaders with skills that can translate to so many different fields. Every JWU student will take Core classes through this College.

We’re celebrating more than 50 years of providing world-renowned culinary education to people who are passionate about food — but we’re not looking back. The College of Food Innovation & Technology (CFIT) is a place where your culinary education extends far beyond the kitchen into economics, history, health, art, sustainability and more.

Students in JWU’s College of Health & Wellness are discovering that food can be both fuel and medicine, learning how to heal injuries and train athletes, and leading the charge to improve community health and prevent disease. You’ll build skills for a wide variety of career options in fields such as athletic training, healthcare administration or community health work.
