Academic Success Center
Get free tutoring, writing support, success coaching and supplemental instruction — available to every JWU student at no additional cost. Need help outside office hours? Tutor.com gives you on-demand access to tutors around the clock, no appointment needed.
Accessibility Services
JWU provides reasonable accommodations to help students with disabilities or chronic health conditions succeed in their academic pursuits. Services include classroom support and housing accommodations, at no additional cost.
Student Academic Services
Every JWU student is paired with an academic counselor who helps you register for courses, understand degree requirements and stay on track for graduation. SAS also handles transfer credit, GPA questions, program changes and more — available by appointment or walk-in.
Library
JWU gives you the space, technology and research support to succeed. JWU Providence’s collection spans more than 100,000 items and 80+ research databases across two locations; JWU Charlotte’s library offers thousands of ebooks and dozens of databases of its own. Get one-on-one help from a librarian, book a study room or print for free with your annual allowance.
Prior Learning Assessment
Complete required placement testing in math, English or world languages before your first semester, or explore ways to earn credit for prior learning and relevant work experience.
