Community Offerings

Johnson & Wales University offers a range of services focused on creating meaningful community engagement. Discover ways for your community organization to be involved including hosting your event on our Providence and Charlotte campuses.

Cook, Celebrate, Gather

Want to sharpen your knife skills, learn how to taste wine or plan an event you’ll remember? JWU opens its kitchens, classrooms and event spaces to the public at both campuses in Providence, R.I., and Charlotte, N.C. Take a cooking class taught by professional chefs, book a caterer for a wedding or company party, rent a space for a conference or attend one of our industry conferences.

The most valuable parts of the classes are the community, the shared joy of cooking & the entrance into a secret society of knowledge & techniques that chefs do automatically but the uninitiated don’t know.”
