If you’re ready to begin your journey to becoming a JWU Wildcat, you can start with these simple steps.

- Submit Your Free Application
You can apply to JWU for free with our application or through the Common App. Test scores and essays are optional, but we encourage you to submit them if you have them. - Plan a Visit to Campus
Visiting campus is the best way to see if JWU is the right fit for you. We have campuses in Providence, Rhode Island, and Charlotte, North Carolina. Here’s the best part: you can earn a JWU Visit Grant of up to $5,000 per year (renewable for up to four years) if you visit one of our campuses before December 1 of your senior year of high school.
Take a guided tour or attend an open house event — both offer the chance to explore campus, meet current students and get an inside look at what it’s like to be a Wildcat. - Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
The FAFSA is not the big, scary form you think it is. It only takes about 30 minutes to complete, and it will be the key to unlocking financial aid to help you pay for college. If you have any trouble completing the form, you can reach out to your JWU financial planner for assistance.
College is a big investment — JWU makes it a good one.
The anticipated cost of college is often the biggest concern for students and their families. But at JWU, the sticker price of college tuition is almost never what you end up paying. We’re committed to making college more affordable through initiatives like The JWU Pledge, which can cover up to 100% of tuition for eligible students. We also have a variety of need-based and incentive grants, scholarships and campus employment opportunities to help reduce your costs.
Once you apply to JWU, you’ll be matched with a personal financial planner who will work with you one-on-one through the entire financial aid process to build a plan that works for you.
