JWU Charlotte Athletics

JWU Wildcat Athletics helps students grow in and out of the classroom. Through varsity sports, intramurals, fitness and wellness programs, we help students build skills for professional success and personal growth.

The Charlotte Campus is home to 14 varsity teams competing in NCAA Division III as members of the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference. Charlotte joined the conference after building a record in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA), where Wildcat teams made 45 national championship appearances and won five national titles in four different sports. The men’s tennis team also competed in the 2024 ECAC Men’s Tennis Championship. In the 2025-26 season, 143 student-athletes were named to the Coast-to-Coast Athletic Conference All-Academic Team.
