Biography and Expertise

Tamara Valentine-Garcia is a dedicated educator and scholar with a diverse background in critical thinking and communications pedagogy. Holding a BA in Communications from Ithaca College and an MA in English from Middlebury College with a focus on creative writing, Professor Valentine-Garcia’s professional interests lie at the intersection of fostering critical thinking skills and effective communication strategies in educational settings.

Outside of academia, Professor Valentine-Garcia is a published author with HarperCollins Publishers and represented by the Marsal Lyon Literary Agency.
