Dr. Lyons is an award-winning, interculturally competent professor with experience in both domestic and international teaching and consulting. He has earned degrees in Communications, Management and Education, holds a Teaching and Learning Strategies for Higher Education certificate from Harvard University, an Internationalizing the Curriculum certificate from Boston College, a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in International Higher Education at Northeastern University, a doctorate in Educational Leadership at Gwynedd Mercy University. Professor Lyons has taught Leadership, Organizational Behavior and Managing People, Global Citizenship, Corporate Social Responsibility, Negotiation and International Relations courses at Hult International Business School and has also been an undergraduate lecturer in Leadership and Communications at Northeastern University for the past 12 years, and a senior instructor at the Cambridge College Graduate School of Management for the past 8 years. In addition to teaching and research, he runs a boutique educational consulting firm, collaborating with institutions on international enrollment strategies and teaching methodologies, as well as consulting with international educational agencies.
