Biography and Expertise
Nicholas Makris is an Associate Professor in the College of Hospitality & Business. He received his MBA from Johnson & Wales University and from there held various managerial positions in the restaurant field. As a previous owner of a successful, prominent Providence restaurant, he decided he needed a change of pace and landed a teaching position at Johnson & Wales.
He has been featured in the Providence Journal, Restaurant Startup & Growth and several other publications.
