Biography and Expertise

Maureen Clancy PT, DPT, OCS, Cert MDT is a graduate of Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She earned a Master of Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from MGH Institute of Health Professions.

She has been a physical therapist for over 20 years primarily treating patients with orthopedic and vestibular conditions. She started at Johnson & Wales in 2024 as an Assistant Professor and Director of Clinical Education. She served as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students for many years prior to becoming Assistant Professor and Director of Clinical Education in 2020 at her prior university.

She maintains a clinical practice treating patients with orthopedic, vestibular and neurological conditions in Acton, MA.

She is involved on the national level serving as the podcast coordinator for the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy Vestibular Special Interest Group. She also serves as a Committee Content Expert for the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists Orthopaedic Section.

She has experience in physical therapy accreditation serving as a CAPTE (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education) reviewer.
