Biography and Expertise

As an adjunct instructor for the College of Business. Dr. Mark Luna has taught a variety of business classes at the undergraduate and graduate levels. He enjoys teaching along with helping students improve their understanding of business in order to promote their own career success. Dr. Luna has earned a Ph.D. in Human and Organizational Systems from Fielding Graduate University. His doctoral research examined Hispanic managers’ personal experiences about their promotional path for advancement and how their cultural, human, and social capital influenced their self-perceptions of career and promotability. He has also earned a master’s degree in Executive Management from Claremont Graduate University and a bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts and Sciences from the University of Southern California. Finally, Dr. Luna has extensive work experience in client relations, retail sales, and sales management.
