Biography and Expertise
I am an Adjunct Professor at JWU Providence and now JWU CPS. I was an employee at Schneider Electric for 35 years in the Foxboro, MA area. I have had multiple roles over the years and I find myself moving to new positions every 3-4 years as the company evolves and my job interests change. I am in the process automation group at Schneider Electric. We are a $35B company with 129,000 employees. My group is in every country of the world and we provide automation to every continuous process industry from nuclear power to refineries to breweries to food manufacturing and more. I call on a lot of that experience during the coursework. I have been involved in just about every corner of our business (except finance but I work with finance daily): Marketing, Sales, Corporate Marketing, Technical Support, Product Management, Project Delivery, Field Service, Launch Management, and more. My favorite role has been as a Product Manager which I’ve done at 3 or so groups within the company. In this role I have found myself working in operations management activities as much as anything, but my current role in Go-To-Market/Commercialization where I also touch every element of the company’s end to end value chain.
