Biography and Expertise
As a professor of Math at Johnson and Wales University, Dr. Kristin Hess has teaching and research interests that include success in first college math classes, statistics, education research – specifically supporting and teaching prospective teachers.
Dr. Hess holds a master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a doctorate from University of Colorado in Denver in Education and Human Development with an emphasis in math education. In addition to teaching, one of her interests is designing workshops and other programs aimed at improving the online education by supporting instructors in their course design
