Biography and Expertise

Kelli Kruzel, MSPAS, PA-C is the Director of Clinical Education for the Physician Assistant program at Johnson & Wales University. She earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from D’Youville College in Buffalo, New York, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a Biology Minor from Canisius College, also in Buffalo. Kruzel began her Physician Assistant (PA) career in emergency medicine, but has also worked in family medicine and urgent care. She is currently part of Lifespan’s SAFE program and helps conduct sexual assault forensic exams. She helped to develop a Physician Assistant program in Vermont prior to joining the PA program at Johnson & Wales University. Kruzel is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) with a license to practice in the states of Rhode Island and New York. She is a current professional member of the Physician Assistant Education Association (PAEA) and American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).
