Biography and Expertise

Suzannah Hicks, D.B.A., is an AI strategist, enablement leader, and business intelligence practitioner with over 25 years of business ownership and management experience, combined with 11 years of experience in data, analytics, and artificial intelligence. She currently serves as Senior Manager of the Ferguson AI Center of Excellence, where she helps guide enterprise AI strategy, governance, enablement, and responsible adoption. In addition to her corporate leadership role, Dr. Hicks provides select strategic consulting engagements focused on data, AI, and organizational transformation. Her professional background bridges business strategy, analytics, AI enablement, and practical implementation, allowing her to help students connect technical concepts to real-world business decision-making. Dr. Hicks earned a Bachelor of Arts from Berea College, a Master of Science in Analytics and Data Science from the University of New Hampshire, and a Doctor of Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University.
