Dr. Kathleen Torregrossa is a teacher leader serving as the Cranston Public School’s Coordinator of Professional Learning, Teacher Evaluation, and Mentor Programs. In addition to planning and presenting professional learning sessions on a variety of topics, Dr. Torregrossa collects and analyzes evaluation and professional learning data for informed decision making, programmatic evaluation, and logistical planning.
She also is an Instructional Coach in the area of Instructional Technology.

Dr. Torregrossa is also an Adjunct Professor at Johnson and Wales University, Providence, in the M.A.T. program, teaching Best Practices for Literacy Instruction. She is a National Board Certified Teacher (Literacy: Early Childhood/Adolescent) who has been a Kindergarten, First Grade, and Elementary Special Education at various times throughout her career.

Dr. Torregrossa has been trained by the American Federation of Teachers in various professional development courses, which she has presented in her district and statewide for the RI Federation of Teachers. She has presented at the district, state, and national levels on Reading and, most recently, on AI in Education (for the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) ).

She is a certified facilitator for Blended Learning Live and has completed the Blended and Personalized Learning Coaches Program at Roger Williams University, RI.
