Biography and Expertise
Educator with 8+ years of teaching and 15+ years in HR, leadership, and strategy. Research interests: organizational behavior, culture, person–organization fit, HR, leadership, university–industry collaboration, and innovation. Adjunct Faculty: Strategic Management & Management and Organizational Behavior (UNC Charlotte) and Organizational Behavior (Johnson & Wales). Committed to inclusive, data-driven, student-centered teaching.
I hold a Ph.D. in Strategic Management, a master’s in business administration and management, and a B.Sc. in Psychology. Additionally, I’ve taught Organizational Behavior, Leadership Development, and Strategic Management at UC Berkeley, and internationally at UFMG, UNA, and UEMG. My teaching focuses on organizational development, behavior & leadership, team dynamics, psychological safety, DEI, and employee experience—helping mission-driven organizations build resilient, inclusive cultures.
My work blends practical execution of HR strategies, bridging theory and practice to empower individuals, managers, and teams to deliver the best customer service and excellence. In HR roles at Amazon, UNC Charlotte, and Vale S.A., I’ve contributed to performance management, compensation strategy, organizational design, and workforce planning. I’ve helped implement leadership development initiatives, equitable pay systems, multisite rewards programs that align people with purpose.
