Biography and Expertise
Joan Geller has over 35 years of experience coaching, consulting, and speaking on presentation and communication skills. Her clients include major corporations like CIGNA, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and General Electric, and also include individual clients and organizations in need of a speaker. In addition, she has spoken to congressional spouses at the Capitol. Currently, Joan teaches at Johnson & Wales University’s Charlotte Campus, where she is an associate professor and coordinator of humanities, social sciences, and languages in the department of Arts & Sciences. She has taught with Johnson & Wales for over 25 years where she was honored to be Teacher of the Year and Club Advisor of the Year. Joan received her M.S. in Speech Pathology from Columbia University and her B.S. from Boston University. Joan is a much sought after presenter and demonstrates what she teaches in her academic classes as well as her consulting practice.
