Biography and Expertise

I’m a communications/operations professional and longtime adjunct instructor who loves turning real-world data into clear decisions. Earlier in my career, I served as a utility manager for the City of Wilson, where I relied on heavy Excel workflows—cleaning messy datasets, building dashboards, running what-if models, and supporting budget and operational planning. I’ve taught for 17+ years across business, communication, and design programs. I hold a BFA in Photojournalism (minor in Broadcasting) and a Master’s in Communications/Public Relations. My teaching style is hands-on, practical, and focused on job-ready skills.
