Biography and Expertise

Ellery Capshaw is a poet and writer whose work blends personal history with myth and cultural memory. She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Southern Illinois University and a BA in English from Penn State. Her debut poetry collection, Three Walled World, is forthcoming from CLASH Books in March 2026, and her chapbook The Woman in the Sound is published with Bottlecap Press. She lives in Connecticut, where she also works in marketing for American Cruise Lines.
