Biography and Expertise
Biography / Career Highlights: Dale Klatzker served as Chief Executive Officer of Gaudenzia, Inc., a nonprofit provider of substance use disorder (SUD) and co-occurring mental health services across Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Washington, DC.
He was appointed CEO of Gaudenzia in March 2019.
Under his leadership, Gaudenzia emphasized evidence-based care over abstinence-only models, expanded programming (including services for pregnant and parenting women), and integrated technology into clinical services.
In March 2024, Gaudenzia named Dr. Deja Gilbert as its new President & CEO, succeeding Klatzker, who had announced his planned retirement.
