Biography and Expertise
Cara Westover, LMFT is a seasoned clinical executive with over 10 years of experience leading behavioral health strategy, operations, and program development. She has overseen multidisciplinary teams of clinicians, nurse practitioners, and supervisors, and specializes in building scalable mental health programs that integrate evidence-based care with sustainable business models.
Cara holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York. Licensed in both North Carolina and California, she is also a practicing therapist with expertise in eating disorders, family dynamics, and nontraditional relationship structures.
Passionate about innovation in healthcare, Cara has driven organizational transformations that improved clinician productivity, increased patient satisfaction, and advanced measurement-based care initiatives. She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Arts and Science Council of Charlotte, bringing her leadership experience into the broader community.
