Brian A. Van Gyzen, BA, MBA, CHE, CFSM
The College of Hospitality Management – Associate Professor

Brian Van Gyzen completed his education at Johnson & Wales University with a Master’s degree in Business Administration in Hospitality Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Rhode Island College and an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts from Rhode Island Junior College. He has more than 40 years of hospitality industry experience working with numerous independent restaurants, Hyatt Hotels, and various wine retailers and distributors. Brian is currently one of the university liaisons for Partender.com, Rhode Island Distributing, Best Beverage, Bigelow Tea, Keel Vodka, Downeast Coffee Roasters, and Mocktails, Inc.
