The Daly Kenney Group owns and operates sixteen (16) Dunkin’ Donuts Restaurants in the South Coast of Massachusetts. The company started with five Restaurants in 1999 and has grown to sixteen, a Realty L.L.C. and is a co-owner of a coop distribution system serving over one hundred Dunkin’ Restaurants in Massachusetts. We employ over three hundred people in a wide range of job categories ranging from entry level positions to general managers responsible for accounting, human resources, training and coordination of our legal counsel and other external support staff. Major areas of accomplishments include shop development, ongoing five year Business Plan models, and ongoing financial planning including major refinancing of both long term and short term debt.
1980-1999 Director of Marketing. Dunkin’ Donuts, Baskin Robbins, and Togos .
Responsible for the Marketing of the largest Dunkin’ Donuts Division.
Member of the Focus Leadership Team which is responsible for
developing the National Marketing Plan and related budgets.
Responsible for developing and implementing Marketing programs in approximately 1200 Dunkin’ Donut s Baskin Robbins , and Togo’s Restaurants with annualized sales in excess of a billion dollars.
Responsible for administering an advertising and marketing budget of over $50,000,000 per year.
Major accomplishments included:
-Increased average weekly sales in comparable shops an average of 10% per year from 1990 to 1999. These sales increases surpassed all budgeted sales increases as well as all other region’s sales increases.
-Successfully developed and tested several marketing and media strategies which became part of the National Marketing Plan. These Strategies included sports marketing, up-front media buying and focus market development.
-Developed and implemented the Coffee Focus Strategy.
-Member of the Acquisition Task Force which set up guidelines for Dunkin’ Donut’s acquisitions.
-Member of the Reorganization Task force for the Reorganization of the Dunkin’ Donuts Marketing Department.
