Ashley Lemons is an accomplished crisis manager, victim assistance responder, and lecturer with extensive experience in critical incident management. Ashley began her career in a non-profit organization where she played a pivotal role in establishing the first Victim Assistance Program for the Rhode Island State Police. She provided mental health and crisis management support to victims of crime and critical events, such as suicides and motor vehicle accidents. Additionally, she provided these same services to the Providence Police Department and coordinated with School Resource Officers, to address at-risk students, and those with mental health needs. Ashley later joined the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a Victim Specialist, where she played a pivotal role as a first responder leading the victim response during the Newtown School Shooting. During her tenure at the FBI, she also worked within the Crisis Management Unit, Violent Crime Squad in New York providing intelligence support and the Equal Employment Unit.

Ashley currently sits on the Board of the Rhode Island School Resource Officer Association where she oversees policies, procedures, training and safety to all the School Resource Officers in Rhode Island.
