Overview option 1

Fancy Feature with the 3-image collage or the 2-image collage setting for the Media Type should give you the most vertical space for pairing with longer text here. Cut text to fit here for most cases.

One of several “feature” choices, use this to call attention to, promote, educate about, or route users to information. Image and text should support each other, and button text should describe what it links to (not just say “learn more”). To change the media to video or multiple images, select the Fancy Feature container in the lefthand List View toolbar and choose the Media Type from the Block menu in the righthand toolbar.

Overview option 2

If text won’t cut, or the first paragraph or so won’t break topically into multiple components, you can also use a single image set to content width (the “none” option in the width/alignment setting in the contextual pop-up toolbar) followed by a subheading and longer running text in one chunk. To use this option, delete the Fancy Feature from the left-hand List View toolbar.

No matter which option you choose for the overview, make sure to alternate background colors on the components that follow it. Adjacent component-rows shouldn’t have the same background color. White, light gray, and light blue are good alternates for general row-switching, to give the page a visual rhythm, and if you have an important, promotional, or “fun” piece to call attention to, give it a brighter background to help it pop out from its neighbors.

Structural info about this degree

Use a billboard or another type of Feature (Overlap or one of the Fancy ones) next for something integral about the degree structure or format, like a 3-year option, a graduate school pathway, a required internship, etc. Give it a colored background to separate the overview row above it from the curriculum row beneath it.
