    Life at JWU is vibrant, hands-on, tight-knit, and community-driven. JWU’s long history in Providence means you’ll have access to the city’s thriving local scene full of creative, entrepreneurial, and professional opportunities.

    Residential Life

    One of several “feature” choices, use this to call attention to, promote, educate about, or route users to information. Image and text should support each other, and button text should describe what it links to (not just say “learn more”). To change the media to video or multiple images, select the Fancy Feature container in the lefthand List View toolbar and choose the Media Type from the Block menu in the righthand toolbar.

    Two Campuses, One Community

    Our two campuses offer distinct experiences, but both are integral to the JWU community. Some students choose to live closest to where they study, while others pick based on the setting and living options they prefer. Either way, you can easily get between campuses with a short ride on Wildcat Wheels.

    Downcity Housing and Dining

    Learn about living and dining options in walkable downtown Providence, where you’re close to coffee shops, artisan boutiques and a trove of quality bookstores just across the street. Most of JWU’s non-culinary academic programs meet on the Downcity campus.

    Harborside Housing and Dining

    Take a break from the city with a view of Providence Harbor, where you’ll have easy access to a beach, green space, and athletic fields. Most culinary courses are held on the Harborside campus.

    The revamped Larry Friedman Center for Entrepreneurship, simply known as the eCenter, is the hub for entrepreneurial activity at JWU Providence. Under the guidance of Jeff Binczyk, the eCenter brings together entrepreneurial studies, experiential opportunities, mentors, and small business support services to transform students into entrepreneurs and their ideas into commercial or social enterprises.
